Thanks to the support of the Queen Elizabeth Foundation for the Mentally Handicapped, Shun Tin Centre successfully held the “Sharing the Fun community Integration Project cum open day” on 26 October 2024 and attracted more than 400 visitors. 

Opening ceremony officiating guests included Mr. Leung Po-wah, District Social Welfare Officer (Kwun Tong), Dr. Mak Wing-chit, Chairman of Council of the Queen Elizabeth Foundation for the Mentally Handicapped, Mr. Wong Hiu-tung, Captain of Shun Tin Care Team, Prof. Sandra Chan, Convenor of Day Activity Centre and MH Hostel Sub-committee of MHAHK, and Mr. Stephen Wong, Deputy Director of MHAHK.  The programmes of the open day had different variety, including unit tour, introduction video of the unit, display and trial of the unit facilities, exhibition of artcrafts and potted plants made by service users, booth games and snacks, etc. The open day provided an opportunity to let public to know more about the services of the unit and the talents of the persons with intellectual disabilities.
