“Life Blossoms” Art Exhibition Celebrates Successful Closing
Thanks to the support of the Arts Development Fund for Persons with Disabilities, our Association successfully held an art exhibition at the Central Market 1/F Event Space on 4-5 October. The event drew an impressive crowd of over 5,000 visitors. Additionally, 300 participants engaged in a variety of art workshops, including the “Luban Lock Experience”, “Happy Fun Dyeing - Tie-Dye Workshop”, and “Metal Wire Craft Workshop”.
The opening ceremony featured esteemed guests, including Ms. Tsui Chi-kwun, Senior Social Work Officer of the Rehabilitation and Medical Social Services Branch of SWD; Ms. Gina Tam, General Manager of Central Market; Dr. Lo Tak-lam, Chairman of MHAHK; and Mr. Stephen Wong, Deputy Director of MHAHK. Numerous artists attended to provide guided tours and share their creative journeys, fostering greater public awareness and appreciation for the artistic talents of persons in recovery and those with intellectual disabilities.
