The Jockey Club Community Creation Workshop (JCCCW) held an "Employment x Talent Open Day" on 24 August, 2024. JCCCW was honored to have Ms. Chow Mei-yee, the Assistant District Social Welfare Officer (Sham Shui Po), and Dr. Lee Chi-chiu, the Chairman of the Vocational Rehabilitation Service Sub-committee, MHAHK, officiated the event.

The event attracted over 200 attendees and had a lively atmosphere. The program's highlight was a sharing session where employers and trainees shared their experiences and challenges in the employment journey of persons with disabilities, emphasizing the crucial need for cross-sector support. In the interactive session, trainees introduced the workshop’s product, enhancing public understanding of workshop services. We look forward to future opportunities for further exchange and learning.
